Andrew moved to Edmonton four years ago as an architectural designer and bartended on the side as a hobby. Inspired by the history and culture of the classic cocktail era, he soon turned his part-time hobby into a full-time passion.
The self-taught mixologist follows the same philosophies and style of the pre-prohibition era – less is more. Andrew says a true classic cocktail consists of no more than three or four top quality ingredients.
Andrew often reaches for Hennessy as his go-to ingredient for his classic creations. He describes the spirit as rich and elegant with a consistently good quality, which is important for mixing.
