On Wednesday November 6th, Hennessy Artistry presented Black Atlass at Flyjin in the Old Port of Montreal. What were the ingredients for this night to remember? The drink was Hennessy, the music was urban, and the vibe was friendly. Mix well and enjoy. Over 100 people attended this private party, which included a live performance by the group Black Atlass. Guests were treated to a delicious meal before trying our Hennessy Very Special cognac, the star ingredient of 12 cocktails created especially for this event. Direct from New York, world-renowned mixologist, Jordan Bushell, concocted hundreds of drinks to the delight of our guests. “Hennessy supports art in all its forms and opens new doors for people, both through music and cocktails. For me, cocktails are my art; it’s my way of introducing people to something new,” said Bushell, the Toronto native who was in Montreal for the first time with Hennessy.
The evening continued with a musical performance by Black Atlass, blending futuristic R&B, pop and electronics. The group delivered a solid performance, leaving the enthusiastic audience wanting more. “The crowd was amazing! It was really great to get to sing for such a small group. We’re used to playing in front of 2,000 people. I love performing in venues like this,” said Alex Fleming, the lead singer of Black Atlass, which is currently enjoying a dazzling success. Resident DJs Adrien Malka and Hillel Matthews kept the party going, spinning tunes that had guests on their feet, dancing into the wee hours of the morning.
