Hennessy's first artistic blend bottle

Hennessy's first artistic blend bottle

In 2010, artists Kesh and Burrows combined their unique styles to kick off Hennessy 's series of artistic limited edition V.S bottles

When Hennessy hit upon the idea of blending artist styles to reflect the art of cognac blending, their first edition bottle featured the artists Kesh and David Burrows. Though both artists hailed from England, their career paths were rather different. Kesh was also a DJ, magazine editor and fashion designer. Burrows had published many treatises on performance art, as well as producing an ongoing "performance fiction" and being in charge of undergraduate fine art media at the Slate School of Fine Art. The bottle created by their collaboration in 2010 was both whimsical and yet recalled the great traditions under which Hennessy V.S. is made. And of course, being the first "artistic blend" bottle, Kesh and Burrow's work set the stage for a successful series artist partnerships in the coming years.
