In Moscow, the best fun happens after sunset. I was there last month to witness how Russians make the night and I can tell you they do it like few people in the world. My evening started off the best way possible with Hennessy Be Very Special Party. The Maison had organized a big celebration for its 250th anniversary at the New Manege. DJ Graziano della Nebbia came with a one of a kind playlist while the Time Barrel was standing not far from the dance floor. Tones of messages were sent out to the future that night. At 2 am the museum closed and the party moved to Red October, an old chocolate factory transformed into something quite unusual for Moscow: a bohemian island of art, fun and culture with hip bars, trendy restaurants, contemporary galleries and incredible clubs. The rest of the night went by at lightning speed and when the sun rose over Moscow it was already time for me to catch my plane. Let's see next week if New York can beat Moscow’s madness.
