At age 20, with a soul of the 70s, Joanna’s voice is one of a kind.
Being the daughter of one of the top music producers in Taiwan, Joanna had always been exposed to different genres and varieties of music, and was therefore musically inspired since a very young age. As a left-hander, Joanna wanted to play the guitar with her left hand like Paul McCartney from The Beatles, her favorite band. When she was 12, her father gave her a left-handed guitar to encourage her to play her own music; she began composing music at the age of 14, and started performing when she was 16.
Joanna’s debut album took more than two years to complete. Most of the songs were recorded at the MadDog Studio in the US in collaboration with top musicians who brought vitality and richness to Joanna’s album, indulging listeners in her magical voice. We would like to recommend you to listen to Joanna live, with a guitar and a voice that will melt your heart.
