Germany Premiere: the first Hennessy Artistry Event featuring Clueso and One-Two
On October 13th the first Hennessy Artistry evening in Germany took place in Berlin at the Felix Clubrestaurant. There, Hennessy presented 400 invited VIP guests a multi-sensory experience consisting of live music acts, cocktails, food and video installations all in one of the hottest clubs in Berlin. For the first Hennessy Artistry event in Germany, Hennessy was able to obtain the party-experts from the MIX-IN platform (www.mix-in.de ). Bar professional David Wiedemann mixed the Hennessy City Cocktails and DJ’s Ralf Kollmann and Vincenzo guaranteed the right club sound. Adding to this were the live video performances from VJ’s BerlinBeamBoys as well as culinary delights presented by the
Food-Creature The Foodists in cooperation with the Felix Clubrestaurant crew. The highlight of the first Hennessy Artistry evening in Germany have been the two main musical acts, featuring rapper and songwriter Clueso and his legendary jazz trio as well as the French electronic pop duo One-Two.
Taken all together, these ingredients created an unforgettable mix of music, cocktails, food and VJ surprises. That’s Hennessy Artistry – the global art of mixing!

Just like a master blender combines various eaux-de-vie brandies in order to create an exquisite cognac – the Hennessy Artistry mixes different musical styles and cocktails.
For two years, Hennessy Artistry has been touring throughout the world, especially in the USA and Asia. Along the way, it has set a universal trend: The global art of mixing.
Clueso has been making music since 1995, initially with EFP 96 (Erfurt Projekt 1996), which later became the Wostok MCs. Besides Clueso, the Wostok MCs also included DJ Malik and Steer M, who still frequently appear on stage with Clueso.
Clueso, alias Thomas Hübner, has transformed himself from a rapper and back-track producer from Erfurt to a songwriter full of heart and soul.
His range of German-language music varies from rough and minimalist guitar, drum and vocal tracks to intricately composed pieces incorporating orchestral elements.
This musician – and especially his texts – are highly distinctive, covering a range of
themes from everyday situations and seemingly banal matters right through to profound thoughts and flights of fantasy.
His live shows are legendary and packed full of energy, and the man hailing from
Thüringen never fails to thrill his audiences with a richness of ideas and verve, as
demonstrated perfectly by the orchestral concert he performed together with the
‘Stüba’ philharmonic orchestra at Berlin’s Postbahnhof.
Highly acclaimed as an exceptional talent by the trade press, the Thüringen
musician’s status has now reached far beyond that of just an insider tip.
Following his debut with “Text und Ton” from 2001, the subsequent album “Gute
Musik”, his album release “Weit Weg” in 2006 – which also captivates with a
multitude of different musical influences – in May of this year, Clueso released his
fourth album “So Sehr Dabei”.
With his album “Weit Weg”, he reached number 12 in the album charts.
Clueso provided the support act for Herbert Grönemeyer on his 2007 stadium tour,
and also for Die Fantastischen Vier.
The single “Keinen Zentimeter”, taken from his current album in February 2008,
entered the official singles charts at number 15.
The tour to accompany his current album was sold out within just a few days.
At the 2008 Bundesvision Song Contest he took second place.
