Alexandre Fillon, who was born in Paris on 26 May 1970, lives in Vannes (Morbihan) and has worked for publications such as Madame Figaro, Livres Hebdo, Lire and Bretons.
The prize-giving ceremony was held on 11 March 2009 at the Hélène Darroze restaurant in the presence of Philippe Delorme, Tonino Benacquista, Daniel Picouly, Frédéric Beigbeder, Ines Sastre, Guillaume Gallienne and Eric Neuhoff.
Created in 1990, the Hennessy Prize for Literary Journalism honors a French-speaking literary critic working for the printed press each year.
This prize reflects the philosophy of Hennessy, which has been actively involved in cultural and artistic patronage since its foundation in 1765.
