A superstar deejay for the better part of a decade, twenty-three year old DJ Ruckus is now emerging as one of the most dynamic talents in today’s entertainment world. Ruckus, the cousin of rock icon Lenny Kravitz, was given turntables on his fourteenth birthday and took little time to establish an undeniable musical style and understanding. By the time he was fifteen, Ruckus was a resident DJ at Crobar Miami playing to thousands of revelers each weekend at one of the world’s most exclusive clubs. Ruckus quickly garnered a celebrity following and the Atlanta native was soon traveling around the country spinning at hot sports on both coasts including New York’s Lotus and Los Angeles’ Sky Bar. While still a resident in nightclubs around the country including exclusive destinations in New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Atlanta, Ruckus’ career has blossomed far beyond nightclub events. Personally called upon by celebrities including Adrian Brody, Christina Aguilera, Diddy, Magic Johnson, and Steven Tyler to deejay their private parties, Ruckus also provides the music at exclusive parties for corporate clients including Calvin Klein, PlayStation, Prada, and Virgin and fashion shows and film premiers around the world. A rising star as a producer, Ruckus produced “Sexhibition” – a single from the Janet Jackson album released in March 2005. Ruckus has also produced for artists ranging from Outkast to Kelis to Chris Brown. A budding actor, Ruckus was recently featured on the silver screen playing a leading role in the smash-hit drama “ATL”. Ruckus has been featured in a breadth of national publications including People, Us Weekly, OK! Magazine, Nylon, New York Post, and Ocean Drive.
