Hennessy, the cognac with mixability hosted a star-studded concert event and created an amazing music experience, Hennessy artistry, in Taipei on Sept. 25.
The invitation only event featured: Shayne Ward, Joanna Wang, Until June & DJ Tom Price.
The event was hosted exclusively by Hennessy which boasts a long and supportive partnership with emerging and established music talent.
UK voted for him in their millions to crown him winner of reality show, The X-Factor 2005, his record-breaking debut single ‘That’s My Goal’ stormed to the top of the charts giving him the Christmas No.1, where it stayed for four weeks, following this phenomenal success. In less than three months Shayne Ward has achieved extraordinary success – he entered the Guinness World Records book for the most downloaded track in a day.
Travelling the globe he’s taken his music to Number One in Hong Kong, Sweden, Korea, South Africa, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. In some countries his album went triple platinum. “It’s flattering to hit Number One in the UK,” Shayne says, but he adds that to hit it big in countries where he wasn’t ‘that bloke off the telly’, and where he stood or fell on the quality of his music, presents a very different sense of achievement. “I love the hard work and the support I got from all that was incredible. I started from scratch in different countries, and it was an amazing, very vindicating feeling when it worked out.”
