Hennessy, Cognac - - - Maison Hennessy and the members of the Prize Jury, chaired by Frédéric Beigbeder, were honoured to award the 2010 Hennessy Prize for Literary Journalism to Christine Rousseau.

Christine Rousseau, 43, has edited "Le Monde des Livres" since 2002, having been a sub-editor at the publication for eight years. She was also responsible for French literature from 2006 to 2008. The award ceremony took place on 24 March 2010 at the Lapérouse restaurant. Created in 1990 and awarded once a year, the Hennessy Literary Journalism Prize recognises French-language literary press journalists. The selection criteria for the prize include quality of writing, independent thinking and making a contribution to uncovering new talent across a body of articles (reviews, editorials, investigations and features) published in the press. The prize, worth 7,000 euros, symbolises the philosophy of Maison Hennessy, which has been strongly committed to sponsoring cultural and artistic activities since 1765.
