It was 100 years ago, in 1909, that the Hennessy Cognac House made its first steps in advertising. To commemorate the event, the Company revealed some historical advertising posters from its archives, presenting them to the public under the auspices of a retrospective exposition displaying a small part of 20th Century history based on advertising posters of the most famous cognac manufacturer.The exposition covers eight decades. In addition to famous posters, each period is also accompanied by a brief description of the main advertising trends of the time, the chronology of most remarkable events and portraits of five outstanding individuals, each of them representing a certain decade.
