Olivier Paultes is happy to indulge in his passions at Hennessy
Olivier Paultes is overjoyed because he now spends a lot of time in Hennessy distilleries. In this way he can focus on his passion: the distillation of eaux-de-vie, and telling the world about Hennessy's savoir-faire in this very area. In other words, he embodies Hennessy's excellence and know-how. And he's also a member of the famed Tasting Committee. A native of the Cognac region -- he was France's youngest master blender at the age of 25 -- Olivier was brought up by a cognac family: his father & grandfather passed down their secrets of distillation and aging eaux-de-vie. Now he distills his own life experiences, using what he's learned to create fine Hennessy cognacs.
