This is Artistry Nigeria!

In December 2019, the stars came out to celebrate a special milestone: the 10th anniversary of Hennessy Artistry in Nigeria, held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island. In addition to unveiling a limited edition carafe designed by the Nigerian urban artist known as Osa Seven, the House welcomed guests to enjoy an invitation-only, immersive experience fusing art, music and culture. The evening’s crowning event, in partnership with the local radio station was the pulsating, enthralling sixth edition of the VS hip-hop competition.

The night’s brightest star was the rap artist LaudReyes, who edged out five other acts to become the competition’s first-ever female to take home the top prize. As part of her win, Laudreyes landed time in a recording studio with the top music producer of her choice, and will benefit from a year-long mentorship with rap royalty: the award-winning songwriter and performer Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, better known as Vector tha Viper.

The high-voltage event concluded with some of the Hennessy Artistry talents who have gone on to international stardom, including Falz, Patoranking, and Olamide. Having closed out the decade in grand style, Hennessy looks forward to embarking on a new era of memorable experiences and journeys.
