Hennessy V.S.O.P est un assemblage aussi complet qu’harmonieux, l’expression même d’un cognac équilibré.

Ce cognac de caractère est conçu à partir d’une sélection d’eaux-de-vie charpentées et vieillies principalement dans des fûts de chêne anciens. Il révèle des arômes de vanille fraîche, de cannelle et des notes toastées, qui s’allient dans un équilibre maîtrisé.

Hennessy V.S.O.P est l'expression du savoir-faire de la Maison Hennessy depuis plus de 200 ans.

Artist collective UVA sees a time capsule in each eau-de-vie that goes into creating Hennessy V.S.O.P. Like stars in the sky, they reach us from another time and space in a harmonious blend.

ARTISTS

An art collective

Founded by British artist Matt Clark in 2003, United Visual Artists is a London-based collective with an open and inclusive approach to creativity.

UVA's inspiration

Drawing from sources that range from ancient philosophy to theoretical science, UVA embraces a variety of techniques found in the traditional arts and media and technologies to challenge conventional perceptions and create emotionally engaging art.

UVA's artworks

The practice specializes in exploring the cultural frameworks and natural phenomena that shape our cognition. UVA’s pioneering installations are defined as “events in time”, a stage for performances of light, sound and movement.

A BLENDING OF TIME

Inspired by the blending process of Hennessy V.S.O.P, UVA reflected on the concept of “time blending” as a form of creation and a metaphor for the combination of different eaux-de-vie, each one belonging to a specific time in history. These time capsules are not unlike the lights that reach us from distant stars, each one existing in a different time and space, yet we perceive them blended as one.

DYNAMIC FEEL OF HARMONICS

Upon their first visit to the Maison Hennessy in Cognac, Matthew Clark and Maximo Recio were struck by the synergies between their artistic process and the Hennessy Master Blender’s craft. As Hennessy Master Blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde explained the art of cognac making, the UVA team realized that their explorations of time connect with the craftsmanship of Hennessy’s art.
