Start by breaking the drink down by proportions, mix liquors ahead of time, and add fresh fruit and juices just before serving. Published in the first cocktail book ever created, the Jerry Thomas Brandy Punch is still one of our all-time favorites and will keep your party alive well after the sun goes down.


  • 1.5 liters of Water
  • 1 liter Hennessy V.S
  • 5 oz of Lightly Aged Rum
  • 2 cups of simple syrup or 3 cups of sugar
  • 9 oz of lemon juice
  • 2 oz Grand Marnier
  • 4 oz of Hibiscus Grenadine
  • ½ a pineapple sliced
  • 2 oranges sliced into wheels
  • 1 package of Raspberries


Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir to dissolve sugar somewhat before adding a large block of ice to chill punch before serving.
