Forests for the future

In 2010, Stéphane Hallaire, back then a young engineer, planted his first tree in Senegal and realised that his future was intertwined with that of forests.

This first tree was the seed of Reforest'Action, a pioneering initiative to mobilise businesses to address the climate emergency through forest regeneration. Since its inception, 26 million trees have been planted across 30 countries.

By partnering with Reforest'Action, Hennessy engages in a collective endeavour focused on regenerating forests and supporting the communities that depend on these ecosystems.

Through initiatives like agroforestry, which combines tree planting with market gardening, Hennessy contributes to enhancing the socioeconomic benefits for communities while preserving soil health for future generations. A perfect embodiment of the FOREST DESTINATION programme.
