CNY22 Zhang Enli - Cocktail

The festivities are in full swing and an allure of boisterous celebrations is promised with the Year of the Tiger, making the air come alive with chatter, laughter, and conviviality.

In comes these four cocktails that take ‘unbridled hedonism’ to new levels.

CNY22 Cocktail Classivm Rose

The Classivm Rose and Lychee cognac cocktail

Impossible-to-ignore, charismatic, and an entertainer – the Rose and Lychee cocktail is as close to a one-man-show you’ll get without leaving your home. With a dominant presence of the Hennessy Classivm, this drink leaves an indelible mark on any festivities.

40 ml Hennessy Classivm
120 ml Nongfu Spring Tea, rose and lychee

Blend it directly in the glass and garnish your drink with one rose petal.

CNY22 Cocktail Classivm Jasmine

The Classivm Jasmine and Grapefruit cognac cocktail

Being able to enjoy a few deliberately crafted and joyous experiences together with your loved ones is what Chinese New Year is all about. The Jasmine and Grapefruit cocktail was crafted for those moments and this one surely breaks away from the conventional linear tastes, leaving behind a lingering sweetness.

40 ml Hennessy V.S.O.P
100 ml Nongfu Spring Tea, grapefruit and jasmine

Blend it directly in the glass and garnish the cocktail with one grapefruit wedge.

CNY22 Cocktail Hennessy V.S.O.P

The Hennessy Goji and Lychee cognac cocktail

Premium at home gatherings with those closest to us are at focus and the Year of the Tiger discloses a realm of colourful festivities. The Goji and Lychee cocktail plays on that note, telling the classic tale of indulgence and spirit. The secret to this cocktail recipe is a pinch of goji berries that you garnish the drink with.

30 ml Hennessy V.S.O.P
30 ml Goji liquor
90 ml Lychee drink
5 ml Lemon juice

Blend it directly in the glass and garnish with dried Goji berries and nasturtium, or chrysanthemum and flowers.

CNY22 Cocktail Hennessy V.S.O.P cardamon

The Hennessy Guava and Cardamom cognac cocktail

Simple moments are as important as big occasions with just a finer-grain difference. The Hennessy Guava and Cardamom cocktail is one that can be enjoyed with an eclectic group of friends, or during an epicurean moment for one. The guava juice creates an aftermath of wonder, nicely balanced by the Hennessy V.S.O.P.

50 ml Hennessy V.S.O.P
90 ml Guava juice drink PSP
4 dashes of Bob’s cardamom bitter

Blend it directly in the glass and garnish your cocktail with cardamom.

  • Hennessy V.S.O.P x Zhang Enli

The Hennessy V.S.O.P blend is the expression of eight generations of Master Blenders know-how. To perpetuate the legacy of the original Hennessy V.S.O.P, Hennessy Master Blenders have constantly sought to create a completely harmonious blend: it is the definitive expression of a perfectly balanced cognac. Based on a selection of firmly structured eaux-de-vie, aged largely in partially used barrels in order to take on subtle levels of oak tannins, this highly characterful cognac reveals balanced aromas of fresh vanilla, cinnamon and toasty notes, all coming together with a seamless perfection.

  • Hennessy X.O x Zhang Enli

In 1870, Maurice Hennessy, a 4th-generation member of the Hennessy family, asked the Master Blender Emile Fillioux, a descendant of the Hennessy Master Blender Jean Fillioux, to create a special cognac for his family and friends, using long-aged eaux-de-vie to perfect the blend. They called it “X.O” for “Extra Old”, the original, and a legend was born. Hennessy X.O attained international renown and contributed to the development of the category XO which is a gauge of uncompromising quality. Thanks to 150 years of meticulous know-how, Hennessy X.O remains as inspiring today as it was the day Hennessy first shared it with his inner circle. The powerful and balanced structure of Hennessy X.O carries the promise of an extremely long finish, with each drop an invitation to embark on a journey of the senses through seven tasting notes.

  • Hennessy Paradis x Zhang Enli

For the first time, special editions of Hennessy X.O and Hennessy V.S.O.P inspired by Zhang Enli’s “Poetry and Wine Welcome the Tiger” will be accompanied by a collector’s edition of Hennessy Paradis, also inspired by this artwork for Chinese New Year. Produced in collaboration with the French heritage house Bernardaud and hand-decorated in the porcelain maker’s atelier in Limoges, the one-liter Hennessy Paradis carafe exists in a limited, numbered edition of only 555 pieces. It is presented in a beautifully crafted wooden box that is intended to enjoy a second life as a decorative object in the home.
